At Last -- It's Done!

It is done at last!  Our new Air Conditioner/Heater is installed! Your help with this is very much appreciated.

As you will remember, we asked your help, since our old AC unit “bit the dust” in the fall, and it would not cool. But God is good, because it would still heat, so we did not replace the unit right away, but we used the heating aspect during the fall and winter months.  This enabled us continued use of the Logos Theatre all during that time.

Then Spring break came upon us, and we had almost no activity in the auditorium, so just before warm weather hit, we were able to go ahead and install the brand new 15 ton Trane heat pump/AC unit. The engineering work was donated to us.

This is just in time for our two-week training camp June 3-18, when we will have about 45 students and staff here training for our summer tour.

Then in July we will have another 30 students here for a three-week camp, which culminates in a performance of God Meant it for Good at the Logos Theatre.  This is the classic story of Joseph and his brothers in Ancient Egypt, and we will give at least three performances.  We expect a good crowd for each performance.

I cannot tell you how much cooler the auditorium is.  Even when the old unit was going full blast, it did not put out this kind of cool.

Please follow the link to a brochure about the Joseph play in July. You are encouraged to attend at least one of the three performances.  Also, we still have some room for those who want to be a part of the cast and crew for this fantastic three-week camp. Please pass this brochure along to a high school and college-age young person.  We can still make dorm reservations.

Thank you again for your continued, generous support of The Academy of Arts Ministry.  I have included some pictures of the AC installation, so that you can rejoice with us.  May God bless you for caring!
