Busy days at the Logos!

The month of November has brought some exciting times to the Logos Theatre! With The Venture of 1620 only 6 days away and Silent Star on the horizon, we at the Logos are excited to share some of our favorite behind the scenes moments with you!

Please keep us in prayer as we prepare to take The Venture of 1620 back to Plymouth, as well as recording new songs, learning new choreography, building new sets, and unfolding anew the wonderful story of Christ's coming to earth through the production of Silent Star

Tickets and information for both events can be found accordingly:

For the first year in a very long time, the Academy of Arts took 6 groups of students to competition at the BJU Festival in Greenville, SC. Three were group acting scenes who performed cuttings from 12 Angry Men, The Miracle Worker, and The Lions of Trondheim. We also had 3 young people perform individual cuttings of The Last Leaf, Les Miserables, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
After two days of intense competition, The Academy of Arts took first place in both categories with 12 Angry Men and Les Miserables! We were blessed to also place second in each of these categories with The Miracle Worker and The Last Leaf. Congratulations to the young people who participated! We look forward to next years festival and praise God for the opportunity to use these gifts for Him on a daily basis with the Academy of Arts Ministries!

Visit Rodehavor Auditorium tonight at 7pm as Molly Horrocks performs her winning piece, Les Miserables! For more information about how to be involved with speech and voice lessons at The Academy of Arts, visit our website at http://www.theacademyofarts.org/classes---lessons.html
